Hot tea! Travis Scott released a new song, “Highest in the Room,” on October 4, and the lyrics seem to hint at Kylie Jenner. The rapper’s latest work comes on heels of the couple’s “break” turning into an official split. On October 3, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet released a statement on Twitter saying she and her ex are on “great terms,” but his song definitely has a few undertones of drama mixed with love.

The first verse begins: “She saw my eyes, she know I’m gone/I see some things that you might fear/I’m doing a show, I’ll be back soon/That ain’t what she wanna hear.”

Travis’ hectic touring schedule could have been a point of contention between the two. Back in March, cheating rumors started floating around about the “Sicko Mode” rapper after he canceled a show in Buffalo, New York due to illness. Reports surfaced that said he wasn’t sick, but instead flew back to Los Angeles because he got in a fight with the makeup mogul over “girls flirting,” according to In Touch. A rep from his team later wrote in a statement that Travis “vehemently denies” cheating on the reality star.

Later in the same verse of “Highest in the Room,” he talks about feeling good with a partner but not wanting to make a full promise. “When I’m with you, I feel alive/You say you love me, don’t you lie/Won’t cross my heart, don’t wanna die/Keep the pistol on my side,” the lyrics read.

Another hint at the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister can be found in the second verse. The lyrics are: “Ah, this my life, I did not choose/Uh, been on this since we was kids/We gon’ stay on top and break the rules/Uh, I fill my mind up with ideas.”

Travis has previously used the term “kids” to describe himself and Kylie when they met and started dating two years ago. “We was just two kids, f—–g around. Maybe, like, the first week, you don’t know if it’s real or a fling. Then the second week you’re like, ‘Whoa, I’m still talking to her, she’s responding, I’m responding. We ain’t run out of a thing to say,” he divulged to Rolling Stone during an interview in December.

It will be interesting to see what’s next for Kylie and Travis.
