His fans can rest easy. People who follow rapper Kodak Black became concerned on April 17 when he mysteriously canceled a show in Boston last minute, and that fueled rumors that the entertainer was missing. But no worries — he was just arrested at the Canadian border, according to NBC News. That’s not great news, but at least fans know he didn’t straight-up disappear.

To make matters worse, Kodak’s team previously told reporters they had no idea where he was or why the show was canceled. This obviously made his fans even more concerned for the 21-year-old rapper. The team apparently had trouble getting in touch with both the rapper and those traveling with him.

Then, on April 18, Kodak was arrested — along with three others — after allegedly trying to cross the U.S.-Canada border near Buffalo with guns and marijuana, officials told NBC Thursday, so his “missing” status was solved. Kodak and Jeantony Saintmelus, 22, were booked on suspicion of criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana, state police told the outlet. Stetson J. President, 24, and Madarrow D. Smith, 20, were booked for alleged criminal possession of a weapon.

Kodak was held in custody on a $20,000 cash bond and released Thursday, Complex reported. As for fans who were left in the dark at his canceled show in Boston, they were filmed screaming “f–k Kodak” as police there cleared them from the venue he was supposed to perform at — the House of Blues. They reportedly waited for hours only for it to appear the performer was a no-show, and we can understand why that might piss some people off.

In fact, it seems like Kodak has been upsetting a lot of people lately. He got quite a bit of backlash after he made some controversial comments about Lauren London in the wake of the death of her longtime boyfriend, rapper Nipsey Hussle. He eventually apologized and said, “If I disrespected you, Lauren London, in any shape or form — I’m sorry, even though I didn’t. And rest in peace to dude.” Honestly, maybe taking a step back from touring and taking a look at his life could do Kodak some good right now — as long as he doesn’t go completely AWOL in the process.
