Is That a Camera Man? Josh and Anna Duggar Seemingly Spotted Filming for ‘Counting On’

Uhh, what’s going on in Anna Duggar‘s Instagram story? Recently, the mom-of-five shared photos and videos of her husband, Josh Duggar, leading some of his kids and siblings in a scavenger hunt. The oldest Duggar son was calling out clues as the kids scrambled to find them, and it seemed like a cute activity. More than that, though, it seemed like the kind of activity that could spark pregnancy rumors among Counting On fans.

Though some were definitely speculating about whether it was some kind of announcement or gender reveal (after all, Anna is just about due for another little one), we couldn’t help but notice something else. At the very edge of one of the pictures, it looked like a cameraman was just out of frame. Though Anna and her children have appeared on the TLC show, it’s been fans’ understanding that Josh was pretty much banned from the production after 19 Kids and Counting was canceled because of his scandal. But if that’s a cameraman in Anna’s Instagram story, well, it certainly seems like they’re filming something.

This isn’t the first time that there’s been speculation that Josh is making his TV comeback. After the scandal, the star seemed to pretty much disappear from the public eye. In recent years, though, he’s been appearing on his family’s social media accounts more and more. However, it’s also possible that, even if that is a cameraman filming for Counting On, they’d be able to edit around Josh. Sure, he’s the one calling clues for the scavenger hunt, but if they focus mainly on the kids trying to solve the puzzle, they might be able to cut him out of the footage.

And TLC certainly has enough practice at artfully keeping Josh just out of frame. Though he’s been in several of his siblings’ wedding parties, we’ve yet to see him standing up with the bride or groom at the front of the church. The Duggars and their TV show are used to getting creative in that regard when they need to. In this instance, we’ll just have to keep watching the show to find out if we’ll see this scavenger hunt on our TV screens — and if Josh is a part of it.
