Fans Think Amy Roloff and Chris Marek Are Engaged … But They Missed One Major Detail!

Little people, big ring?! Amy Roloff took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 7, to clarify rumors she’s engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Chris Marek.

“Is that an engagement ring?! I’m only 15 minutes into tonight’s episode and y’all are talking about [possibly] forever,” one fan commented on her pic. “I like where Chris may take this relationship. Either way, I luv [sic] you so much, Amy, so much. And support you 100%.” In response, Amy wrote, “Thank you. No, I do have a ring on my right hand, though.” Welp, there you have it!

Yet this isn’t the first time the Little People, Big World star confused fans by rocking, well, a rock. Back in August 2018, she and her man were celebrating his 55th birthday when people couldn’t help but point out the sparkly piece of jewelry.

“Are you engaged? I noticed the ring,” one person wrote at the time. Another simply assumed by writing, “So happy for you.” But again, the ring was on her right hand!

Engaged or not, we’re thrilled for the happy couple. The pair has been going strong for over two years now following Amy’s split from Matt Roloff in 2015. The exes decided to file for divorce after 27 years of marriage.

“I would definitely love to get married one day,” Amy, 54, told Us Weekly on May 7. “But it’s not something that I’m intentionally pursuing. If I say yes, then that means my whole heart, everything is into it. … I do think [marriage] is forever.”

She added, “Relationships go through seasons. You are not the same person when you are 20 years old and when you become empty nesters or going through kids and all that,” she said “Both of you are going through that stuff, so keeping the communication and sharing with each other, I think, is very important.”

So is there any drama between the reality TV exes? Well, not at all. “We can drive each other crazy, but then we respect each other as well,” Matt, 57, previously told the outlet. “We ran an event just the other day — I was there with [girlfriend] Caryn [Chandler] and [Amy was] there with Chris, and Amy and I and Chris and Caryn all had a conversation. There was no tension in the room; it was all very easy.”
