Everyone’s favorite television dad, Adam Busby, has sent the rumor mill into overdrive lately, with fans wondering if the OutDaughtered star is gay. Although the 35-year-old — who is married to Danielle Busby and has six children with her — it hasn’t stopped the Internet from speculating.
On a forum for the hit TLC show, one fan wrote, “I’m from the South, but I also think the dad is gay. That’s not typical heterosexual Southern. That’s gay.” Harsh. Another added, “I do think Adam seems gay. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is about him, but he just doesn’t seem all that into her. He is great with the kids, so [he] probably always wanted to be a dad and got married very young so he could have that ‘normal’ life.”

Yet despite their claims, the father-of-quints gushes about his wife of 11 years quite often. When one fan took to Twitter to comment on his admiration for the pair, Adam responded, “Thank you for the kind words. She still makes my heart flutter when she walks in the room,” and used the hashtags, “#hotmama, #ImaLuckyGuy, and #OutDaughtered.” So sweet! In other social media posts, he’s written, “The view here is amazing, but who cares when I get to look at her all day?” and, “The best thing about me is HER. Seriously can’t get enough of my Danielle.” Ugh, our hearts are melting.
Still, these posts haven’t stopped the Internet from slamming the reality star. Another person commented on the forum, “The dad is definitely gay.” A second chimed in, “The dad, Adam, is acting straight because he is gay!” Well, that doesn’t make sense — poor Adam! Unfortunately, for any dudes out there who may have a crush on him, he’s happily taken… to a woman. And for the record, he is most certainly not gay.
