It would appear as though Hugh Hefner is staying true to form — even after his death. Watch the video to learn more about Hef’s final resting place — including the hefty price tag he once dished out for it!

In the past, Hef famously said that “spending an enternity with Marilyn is too sweet to pass up” — and we can understand why he feels that way, considering what a significant part the sex symbol played in the iconic magazine’s early days. She was on the first ever cover of Playboy, and there’s no denying the late father-of-four thought the world of his one-time muse.

In 2012, he was asked what he would say to Marilyn if he had the chance, and he confessed, “I would have told her how much she meant to me and still does. I feel a double connection to her because she was the launching key to the beginning of Playboy. We were both born the same year.” While he admitted that they didn’t get the chance to be as close to her as he would’ve liked, he felt confident that they will be forever linked in death. “I will be laid to rest in a vault next to hers. It has a completion notion to it. I will be spending the rest of my eternity with Marilyn,” he gushed. “She is without question the definitive sex icon of our time. There’s something unique when an iconic legendary figure is more famous 50 years after her death, than at the height of her career.”
