Forget the Grinch, it was federal officials who stole Christmas from Teresa and Joe Giudice.
According to a report, the feds raided their New Jersey mansion earlier this week — and ruined the holidays for their four daughters when doing so.
A source alleges “Plasma televisions, expensive jewelry, cash and even the kids’ Christmas presents were taken” to fulfill the couple’s outstanding restitution, which they owe to the federal government after failing to establish a payment plan.
“Teresa was home and was absolutely stunned by the raid,” the source says. “She had no clue they were coming. She was absolutely hysterical, and begging them not to take the girls’ Christmas presents.”
The source adds the agents were shocked to discover “a large amount of cash in the wine cellar.”

In October, the U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star had paid off $200,000 in restitution to the federal government, leaving her with a balance of $214,588.
Christmas has been ruined for the family-of-six, but the source has little sympathy for the 42-year-old mom.
“This all could have been avoided if Teresa had simply submitted a proposed plan to pay off restitution. Yet, Teresa chose to once again thumb her nose at the law, and was ignoring it,” the source explains to ‘Radar.’
“She is absolutely devastated that there won’t be any Christmas presents for their girls.”
Well, at least there’s one present they couldn’t seize: The gift that keeps on giving — aka her 13-year-old daughter Gia’s questionable holiday song/musical career!
