Holly Bobo Trial Update: What You Need to Know About the Chilling Murder Trial
Earlier this week, the trial began for Zachary Adams — the 33-year-old man who has been accused of kidnapping, raping, and killing 20-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo, who disappeared from her parents’ home in the early hours of the morning on April 13, 2011. During the trial, those closest to Holly — including her mother, Karen, and her brother Clint — took the stand to talk about the gorgeous blonde and her horrifying demise in hopes of finally getting closure when it comes to her death.
Zachary Adams is one of three men being charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, first-degree murder, and rape of Holly Bobo and the first to go on trial. During the stand, Holly’s mother broke down describing the last time she saw her daughter. “I told her goodbye and I loved her,” she said before having to remove herself.

Who are the suspects in the Holly Bobo murder?
Zachary Adams, Jason Autry, and John Adams have been arrested in connection with Holly’s disappearance and murder after John told police that he saw his brother, Zach, and Jason with Holly at Zach’s home after her kidnapping. John has since claimed that the confession was coerced.
What did Jason Autry say in his testimony?
Many were shocked at the information Jason revealed during his testimony during Zach’s trial. He took the stand and said that he was involved in Holly’s death — but only to help hide her body after Zach allegedly shot her. During his testimony, he also claimed that he was at the Bobo home to teach Holly’s brother Clint — the last person to see her alive — how to cook meth.

Where was Holly’s body found?
Holly’s remains were discovered by a man named Larry Stone while he was in the wilderness hunting for ginseng. During his testimony, Larry descrbed came across a bucket, abandoned in the woods — and shortly thereafter, he saw a human skull. Last month, the prosecutors said that an indentation found on Holly’s skull was consistent with one caused by a bullet hole.
Did Clint Bobo change his story?
Holly Bobo’s brother Clint became central to the investigation, because he saw his sister leave with a man on the day of her disappearance — but thought it was her boyfriend. While many have suspected that Clint has changed his story over the years — especially with the added drug accusation by Jason Autry — but it seemed to be consistent when he took the stand in Zach’s trial.
