Is it too late now to say sorry? According to Heidi Klum, no. In September 2018, the America’s Got Talent judge ghosted Drake after she ignored his text messages, but now she admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that she reached out to the rapper to apologize.

On Jan. 2, the model, 45, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and she discussed her back-and-forth relationship with the 32-year-old.

“Last time you were on here, we talked about Drake and you not responding to Drake,” Ellen said. “Has he now reached out again?”

“No, but I did,” the mother-of-four confessed. “I said I’m sorry because I know it made, like, a huge wave after I was here. And he just made that face,” she said, referring to the emoji with the raised eyebrow, which the “In My Feelings” singer sent her.

“That’s all he responded? Oh, he’s mad,” the talk show host joked.

To recap, the blonde beauty appeared on the show in February 2018 and she played a game of “Who Would You Rather?” where she chose Drake over other celebrity hotties. Then, seven months later, she was a guest again and revealed that the Canadian native got her number after watching the segment. However, she had already met her now-fiancé, Tom Kaulitz.

“He was basically a week too late,” she said. “I never texted him back because I found the love of my life. What do you do? Like, what do you say?”

Fortunately, it all worked out in the end because the former Project Runway host got engaged to her beau on Dec. 24. She flaunted her new bling in an Instagram post and captioned the photo, “I SAID YES.”

A few months ago, Heidi couldn’t stop gushing about her man. “I love him very much. He is German too,” she confessed to Ellen. “Maybe that was always the link that was missing. I needed a German. We have the same roots, and the same upbringing, and the same understanding. Maybe it’s the first man that understands what I am talking about…who knows. But yeah, it’s working really well.”

Sorry, Drake! You snooze, you lose.
