GrapeStars Makes A Splash At Art Basel With An Event Celebrating Cincoro Tequila
Art Basel is the event to see — and be seen! Which is why the hottest platform for celebrity wines and spirits, GrapeStars, celebrated the annual fete in style with an Ultra Luxury event hosted at GRIT by DESIGN in conjunction with Cincoro Tequila.
GRIT by Design was founded and launched by Anthony Bold as a way of providing up and coming artists with a unique platform to showcase their art and collaborate on disruptive projects that advance their creativity.
As part of the collaboration and event, an ultra-premium sipping portfolio of Cincoro Tequilas will be infused by WATR and curated by GrapeStars exclusive Sommelier Axl Rosé! WATR was created to focus on designing, developing, and distributing world-class hydration and wellness products that better serve people, communities, and the world.
This championship-worthy tequila, much like its iconic backer — NBA legend and team owner Michael Jordan — boasts a name that means five and gold. The former pro athlete launched the brand in September 2019 along with four other NBA team owners — Jeanie Buss, Wes Edens and Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck as well as his then-fiancée Emilia Fazzalari — who all bonded over tequila during a dinner in New York City.
Cincoro, which is described as a “super-premium” label, has four tequilas as part of the collection — a blanco, a reposado aged eight to 10 months, an añejo aged for 24 to 28 months and an extra añejo, aged for as long as 44 months.
