A seemingly harmless snap shared by the Duggar Family Official Facebook page took a dark turn when people started discussing gun control in the comments. Grandma Duggar posed for the camera with a pair of Nerf guns and rocked a full set of gear, but not everyone found it funny. Watch the video above to find out what people are saying.

The photo was shared just one day prior to the anniversary of Columbine, a shooting that left 13 people dead on April 20, 1999. "We really shouldn't be encouraging gunplay in this day and age," one distraught fan wrote. Although the post was uploaded on Thursday, they wrote on Friday, "Today is the anniversary of Columbine. I guess none of you have had a child or friend killed by this cultural abnormality which is ingrained in the American culture. There are many ways to have fun rather than mimicking a military style weapon."

Others were surprised by the fact that the famous family doesn't allow their children to give hugs, but they're allowed to play with toy guns. If you recall, the Counting On stars have a laundry list of strict rules they abide by — like no dancing, no hanging out with unwed mothers, and more.

But these days, many members are breaking free from Jim Bob's wrath. Not only have Jinger and Jill been sporting pants, but Jill also got a tattoo and a nose piercing. Gasp! Even John David is reportedly angry with his father and will be the next one to distance himself. "There are things that Jim Bob does that John doesn't think are right," a former Duggar employee told The Hollywood Gossip. "Some of his real estate transactions, some of the equipment that he buys — a lot of this stuff, Jim Bob doesn't really need, but he thinks he does."

Do you think there's anything wrong with the photo?
