Welcome to the family! Gary Shirley and Kristina introduced their new “daughters” to the world on Aug. 16, in a social media post. The Teen Mom OG star and his wife will be hosting two students, Paula and Laura, from a foreign exchange program for the school year.

“So excited to be hosting two students for a foreign exchange program! This family just got bigger,” he wrote via Twitter. Gary posed for a darling photo with the two girls after picking them up, and their daughter Emilee hopped in the snap. “Introducing our new ‘daughters’ Paula (on left) and Laura (on right) they are joining us from Spain and Italy for the school year. We are extremely excited to be part of the foreign exchange program and welcome these two wonderful girls to our family,” Kristina captioned the pic.

Fans were so excited about their new venture together, sending them kind-hearted messages in the comment section. “That’s so great you and Gary are doing that! I have a friend that does this as well and it’s such a great program!” one wrote. Another chimed in, “So cool! Good for you for opening your home to them!” Gary also cleared the air on any misconception that he’s helping out for financial gain.

“FYI I do not receive money for this. In fact I have to provide food and transportation,” he tweeted. “And obviously treat them as my own! I did this for the experience and to give back.” Gary shares daughter, three-year-old Emilee, with his wife, and he has a nine-year-old daughter, Leah Shirley, with his ex Amber Portwood. Kristina also has a daughter named Karly, whom she shares with her ex-husband Greg Anderson. Now, their brood is even bigger for the time being!
