Gary Shirley Congratulates Amber Portwood on the Birth of Her Son
It's so nice to see how well Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley get along, after their tumultuous relationship ended back in 2011. The Teen Mom OG stars share a nine-year-old daughter, Leah — and the condoms and cookies mogul publicly congratulated his first baby mama on the birth of her son, James Andrew Glennon. See Gary's sweet message in the video above!
Amber welcomed her first son with boyfriend Andrew Glennon on Tuesday, May 8. The couple met while she filmed Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition — and announced in November that the Forever Haute founder was pregnant. Back in April, Amber opened up to In Touch exclusively about how Gary gets along with her new man — and it's safe to say their relationship is much better than the one he had with her ex-fiancé, Matt Baier.
"Gary and Andrew get along just fine. Me, Gary, [his wife] Kristina, Andrew, the kids — we're a family. We treat each other like family," she explained. "Gary lately has been going on Twitter and saying, 'Don't worry about these haters, Amber.' We're past that now. That was a bad point in my life and we don't want to keep going back to it. We're doing really good today — and I'm happy to say that because it took a while."
The new mother-of-two also shared that she'd turn to her co-star Maci Bookout — a fellow mother of boys — for advice on parenting her son. "God, I love Maci," she gushed. "That's my girl. She helped me out during pregnancy with this lemon water thing, so that helped my tummy out a little bit. She's such a sweetheart."
Congratulations to Amber and Andrew! We cannot get over how adorable their new addition is.
