Well, this should be interesting. Both DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore and Kailyn Lowry from Teen Mom 2 are apparently going to be on a new MTV dating show, along with some other notable celeb faces. Say what?!

MTV announced on January 31 that Game of Clones, a new dating series, is premiering on February 21. The network also shared the full cast list, which includes Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio, Kailyn, Cara Maria Sorbello and Kam Williams from The Challenge: War of the Worlds, and more. But what’s it about? According to the announcement, the series will feature all those stars and more “dating seven exact lookalikes of their celeb crush.” Intrigued yet?

“What if you could have seven identical versions of that person, all with the physical characteristics you find most pleasing?” the description from MTV asked. Leroy Garrett from The Challenge: Dirty 30, Nicole Zanatta from The Challenge: Vendettas and Derrick Henry from The Challenge: Final Reckoning are all starring in the new show as well. Curious who their celebrity crushes are? Thanks to this series, you’ll be able to find out.

In every episode, the stars will be “forced to look beneath each interchangeable face in the hopes of finding their perfect match,” MTV News reported. “Through compatibility tests, challenges and more, each clone will strive to stand out from the rest during this radical dating experience. The race is on to find their one and only clone-ly.” OK, the tagline is a little cheesy, but we can’t say we aren’t interested.

But wait … aren’t Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino going to be in Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D & Vinny? Deadline reported on January 25 that the dating competition series was just greenlit at MTV. So, is Pauly just giving love a chance any place he can find it? Is the network assuming that he’s not going to find his “one and only clone-ly” on Game of Clones? Rude. Guess we’ll just have to watch and find out!
