Inside ‘Friends’ Alum Courteney Cox’s Intimate Outdoor Dinner Party at Her Malibu Home
Monica Geller vibes! Friends alum Courteney Cox channeled her beloved character on Saturday, March 16, when she hosted an intimate, outdoor dinner party at her home in Malibu to celebrate the release of her good friend and celebrity designer Jenni Kayne‘s debut entertaining book, Pacific Natural: Simple Seasonal Entertaining.
Since Courteney, 54, was hosting the party in honor of her pal, she made sure to pay attention to every last detail. The decor and menu for the event were inspired by Jenni’s book, which features cookbook features simple recipes, practical tips and inspiring ideas for entertaining and living. The menu included dishes like parchment wrapped halibut with lavender and lemon, citrus roast carrots with smoked labneh and green harissa and chocolate bark with pistachios, candied citrus and florals.
Courteney looked casual yet chic in a black long-sleeved shirt with jeans, while Jenni opted for a monochromatic cream look. Their pal, Big Little Lies star Laura Dern, was also in attendance and the ladies posed for a group photo in Courteney’s lavish backyard.
It seems like Courteney enjoyed quality time with her pals and she chose to not post any photos or videos from the party on her new Instagram page. The Cougar Town alum joined the social media platform back in January and she enlisted the help of her friend Ellen DeGeneres and former Friends costar Lisa Kudrow for an epic Friends-themed first IG photo — complete with a Central Perk backdrop.
Since then, the mom-of-one has gotten the hang of social media. Last week, she shared a sweet video clip featuring her 14-year-old daughter, Coco Arquette — whom she shares with ex-husband David Arquette — performing a duet onstage with Snow Patrol during a charity event.
“I have overwhelming gratitude towards @garysnowpatrol for sharing his time to perform at @chords2cure. I just love watching Coco and Gary sing together ♥️,” the proud mama wrote in her caption.
