THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR, if you ask us. National Donut Day — which is also known as Free Donut Day — is always the first Friday in June. This year, it falls on Friday, June 2, 2017.
Which stores are participating?
You can get your free donut at Dunkin’ Donuts, with the purchase of a beverage, Krispy Kreme, no purchase necessary, as well as a variety of other places throughout the country including Cumberland Farms, Duck Donuts, Doughnut Plant, Fractured Prune Doughnuts, Honey Dew Donuts, Entenmanns, The Salvation Army, Underwest Donuts, Urban Stems, Curry Donuts, and LaMar’s Donuts. How can I get a free doughnut?
It varies at each participating location. At Dunkin’, you’ll need to purchase a beverage to qualify for a free donut, whereas at Krispy Kreme, there is no purchase necessary to score a sugary treat. Other places, like Doughnut Plant and Honey Dew are only giving away one certain type of donut for free.
