‘Flip or Flop’ Split: Tarek El Moussa “Is a Bully Who Doesn’t Care About Hurting Anyone’s Feelings” (EXCLUSIVE)
Tarek El Moussa may know how to channel the charm when he’s on TV — but the real Tarek is a bully who is relentless when it comes to other people, a source close to production tells In Touch, exclusively.

Shortly after In Touch unearthed Instagram comments in which he mocked his estranged wife Christina’s now ex-boyfriend Gary Anderson, an HGTV source tells In Touch that his bizarre behavior on social media isn’t out of character for the 35-year-old.
“He’s a bully who doesn’t care about hurting anyone’s feelings,” the network source tells In Touch. “It’s a classic Tarek move to say absurdly rude things. He doesn’t think before he speaks.”

Tarek appears to go out of his way to bully; he sought out the Instagram of one of Gary’s daughters, and took to a post she shared for her dad’s birthday to write, “Thank god those heart attacks didn’t kill him… he may make 60.”
While the comments (which have since been removed) are insensitive, Gary likely won’t retaliate. A source close to the Southern California-based contractor tells In Touch, “Gary would never confront Tarek. He just doesn’t care about him.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Tarek’s troubling behavior. Earlier this year, In Touch revealed that he had a habit of being “verbally abusive” to his soon-to-be ex, and was known to berate her on set.

“Tarek treated Christina like garbage,” an insider previously told the magazine. “When she said the wrong thing and they had to do a retake, he got pissed. He often made her cry. Tarek found humor in humiliating his wife in repeated verbal attacks. Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired]. Tarek called Christina a ‘whore’ on set many times.”
