She’s very concerned. Felicity Huffman is scared she won’t be able to see her family if she ends up in prison over the college admissions scandal, a source tells In Touch. “Felicity is worried that jail time means she’ll never get to see her family,” the insider dished. “They have very strict visitation rules and hours and if the prison is overcrowded those who’ve traveled all the way to see her could get kicked out. Celebrities don’t get special treatment!”

In case you missed it, Huffman, 56, appeared in a Boston federal courtroom on Monday, May 13, and entered her guilty plea for her role in the nationwide college admissions scam. She was accompanied by her brother, Moore Huffman Jr. Prosecutors recommended a sentence at the low end of guidelines for Huffman: a four to 10-month prison stint and a $20,000 fine. The actress is apparently worried about even that possibility becoming reality.

Huffman was arrested back in March and charged with “conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.” She previously released a statement admitting to and apologizing for her actions, which read, “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions. I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. I want to apologize to them and, especially. I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.”

“My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her,” the statement from Huffman continued. “This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.” Now, thanks to her “misguided” attempt to help her daughter, Huffman might face a future in which she doesn’t get to see her very much while she’s behind bars.
