Welp, so much for that. After training for months — and posting about it on Instagram every single time she hits the gym — it seems that Farrah Abraham has dropped out of that boxing match she was supposed to have with Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander. According to Radar Online, the former Teen Mom star allegedly decided not to go through with the fight because her demands weren’t being met. Apparently, the star was asking for a lot, and the organizers decided it was just too much, so Farrah decided to forget the whole thing. Apparently, it was just the usual problems for Farrah.

“[It was] typical Farrah with her diva demands,” an insider close to the reality star told Radar. “She wanted 30 rooms, flights for six people… She was very demanding and difficult to work with.” Yeah, that tracks. And it certainly doesn’t sound unfamiliar considering all the trouble MTV insisted that they had with her while filming Teen Mom OG.

Interestingly, though, Farrah’s mom Debra is backing her up on this one.

The two have an often-contentious relationship, but apparently she thinks the organizers are the ones to blame. She claims it’s not that Farrah was asking too much and the organizers of the fight said no, but that they actually said yes… and then refused to follow through.

They didn’t fulfill their promises.

“We were all planning on getting together up there and watching the match,” Debra told Radar. “I said, ‘What about my travel? When do we fly in? Where are we staying?’ They were supposed to get back to all of us. Farrah was like, ‘Mom, he didn’t even get me a ticket!’ I don’t call that Farrah dropping out.”

Basically, Debra says it wasn’t Farrah’s fault.

TBH, it does sound like the reality star family was asking for a lot. But if the organizers promised it, we kind of get why the reality star wouldn’t follow through without it. “It’s ridiculous,” the 61-year-old continued. “They didn’t deliver what they said they would provide in regard to travel and hotel. We’re used to being treated properly. Right now, no one is showing up on our side. If Farrah doesn’t show up, there is no fight!”

But Deb isn’t sweating things.

Just in case you’re worried about some kind of breach of contract legal issue, shes says that’s all nonsense, too. “They didn’t meet what they promised on their end,” she said, so Farrah is obligated to follow through with her part of the contract, either.

That’s not what a representative for the event says, though.

They told Radar, “As of yesterday, they are still going through with it. She’s a partner. She’s on contract. She’s an equity partner. For her to back out, she could get sued for millions.” And if she straight up just doesn’t show, well, the rep isn’t so worried about that. “If she does drop out, we would find another athlete. The show would still go on.”

As for Hoopz, she had a little something to say herself.

“She’s using the promoters as a reason to back out,” the reality star wrote on Instagram. “The fight is still happening with or without her. We agreed because of the cause, not because of Farrah. See everyone November 10th.”
