Back in 2016, Farrah Abraham‘s daughter, Sophia, had her Snapchat account deactivated after followers discovered she was asking strangers to exchange messages with her. Fast forward two years, and Teen Mom OG grandma Debra Danielsen exclusively revealed to In Touch that she is still worried about Sophia’s safety on the Internet, considering the nine-year-old now goes on Instagram Live without supervision.

Fans have reported her page in the past, as the age minimum for Instagram users is 13, but Sophia still stays active on the social media platform, demonstrating concerning behavior from inappropriate photo shoots to her over-the-top makeup tutorials.

“I am getting an overwhelming amount of information from people on social media about Instagram and Twitter accounts where adult men are making inappropriate remarks to Sophia,” Deb shared. “I am getting a lot of that, like screenshots and people saying, ‘Oh my God. Why are people saying this? This is a nine-year-old.'” Even though the Vapor author admits she’s still “quite estranged” from Farrah, she says it’s still “hurtful to see my Sophia around some influences that I don’t particularly feel are age appropriate.”

The newlywed — who recently tied the knot with Dr. David Merz — concluded with, “Why in the heck are people — and grown men — making ANY kind of inappropriate comment to my granddaughter on social media?”

Sophia has definitely had her fair share of controversies, but Farrah has gotten just as much parenting backlash over the years. Back in her daughter’s Snapchat days, Farrah told Radar Online, she saw nothing wrong with Soph hitting up strangers. “I’m right there,” Farrah explained. “Seven-year-olds are lighthearted when it comes to Snapchat. If she wants messages and she’s hyper then good for her before bed time.”

Regardless, Debra still considers Farrah a good mother. “Farrah’s a very positive role model for Sophia because she’s hard-working,” she explained. “She does things and tries to do them to kind of a new level. She puts a very cool spin on what it is to be in pop culture. She’s very good at getting the word out, having charisma, and expressing her emotions. She doesn’t stop — if someone doesn’t think she can do something, she goes and does that.”
