‘Basketball Wives’ Star Evelyn Lozada’s Daughter Shaniece Gives Birth to Rapper The Game’s Baby

Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada‘s daughter, Shaniece Hairston, announced on social media that she gave birth to her first child months after In Touch exclusively revealed rapper The Game is the newborn’s father.

Over the weekend, Shaniece, 31, posted a mirror selfie from inside her home. She rocked a sleeveless black shirt with a pair of white pants. She captioned the post, “Postpartum. Doing amazing and filled with so much love.”

Shaniece also noted, “lounge pants that I didn’t get to wear while I was preggers.”

On Tuesday, October 15, Evelyn, 48, wrote on social media, “Woke up today filled with so much gratitude! Grateful for my health, my family, my kids and now my grandbaby. I’m also thankful for my small circle of friends who I trust and love. No amount of money or material things could ever fulfill my life the way these blessings do. I’m so grateful every single day.”

Back in June, Shaniece announced she was pregnant with her first child in a post on social media.

She shared a photo of herself at the beach showing off her baby bump.

“Another trip around the sun and in my purest birthday suit yet. Oh and Happy Father’s Day baby daddy,” she said. Evelyn also shared a video of Shaniece holding her baby bump.

The Basketball Wives star wrote, “Happy birthday to my AMAZING daughter [Shaniece] You have always been my greatest blessing, and now you are bringing even more joy into our lives with your little one on the way.”

She added, “Becoming a mom at 17 was a journey we took together, and seeing you embrace motherhood fills my heart with pride and love. I am so excited to become ‘ABUELITA’ and to share this beautiful journey with you. Love you more than words can express!!!!”

Evelyn ended, “Me & your dad are ready for this new title!!! Let’s goooooo.” Shaniece has not confirmed publicly that The Game, 44, is the father, but sources confirm to In Touch he is. The two were first linked in December 2023 while on a dinner date at Nobu in Malibu. In August, The Game confirmed he was expecting a child but did not name Shaniece as the mother. He said he had been thinking about how this will be a different parenting “experience.” The Game has 3 children from previous relationships. He shares Cali and King with his ex, Tiffney Cambridge, and Harlem with ex Aleska Jordan.

The Game said, “I think about it in terms of years. I’m 44. When my new child is 21, I’ll be 65.”

“My kids are all fine, straight-A students and look good,” he continued. “It’ll just be interesting to be a parent at this age.” The rapper said he looked to artists like Mariah Carey and Jay-Z, who had children later in life, as inspiration.

“Their next big birthday is 60 and they’re still out here young and looking cool,” he said. In August, The Game celebrated his daughter Cali’s 14th birthday.

He wrote on social media, “California, my miracle baby .. my one & only daughter… my heart, my soul, my life, my twin … I am absolutely elated with the beautiful young woman you have become. You’re smart, sophisticated, independent & although I truly adore your growth. I miss you needing me for the small things.”

Shaniece appeared on the OWN network reality show Livin’ Lozada with Evelyn for 2 seasons and is currently a certified yogi.
