The Duggar siblings have a lot in common: Their hair, their genes, and heck, even their jeans. But have you ever noticed the way they sit? Yeah, we haven't either. Leave it to eagle-eyed Counting On fans to point out that the ladies have a certain formula for lounging around, and it's all about the hand placement. Watch the video above for all the deets!
One reddit user pointed out the phenomenon and wrote, "Random: They all sit the exact same way." Another agreed, writing, "They also all laugh the same way, talk the same way, etc," and a third chimed in, "It makes sense though. They hang around each other a lot since they were homeschooled."
A fourth, however, said the way they sit likely isn't something matriarch Michelle brainwashed them into, it's biological. "All humans actually mirror each other's posture," they commented. "There's something in our brains called mirror neurons, which cause us to mimic other people's posture unconsciously. It's thought to help us develop trust and rapport with others. It's fascinating!" Oh snap, who knew?!
TBH, all the Duggars are starting to morph into one another. Most recently, people were taken aback when Jill and Jinger were totally #twinning in a recent bathroom selfie. And people could hardly contain themselves when they realized disgraced Josh and his sister Johannah — not to be confused with Joy-Anna — were practically the same person.
So yeah, while it's not exactly weird to look like your sibling, it is weird that 19 people — or at least a large majority — all sit the exact same way. Don't @ me. That said, it's not as weird as the family's pickle tradition... #JustSayin.
