For people who don't kiss or barely even touch until marriage, the Duggars are super into smooching and PDA. And we're not just talking about awkwardly humping at mini-golf, although they definitely do that, too. No, we're talking about how the Duggar family couples seem eager to make out on camera. It's something we've been noticing for a while now, but it's not the first time the issue has come up. After all, who could forget that Duggar kissing challenge that Michelle and Jim Bob issued to fans back in 2014?
But still, we can't help but think it's all just a little over the top for the family. Even once they're engaged, the kids are only allowed to side-hug per their family's strict modesty rules. Like, they can't even hold hands. And during an engagement shoot, when a photographer asked Joseph Duggar to touch Kendra Caldwell's waist, they looked pretty shocked someone was asking them to do this.
_"Wait, sorry, you want us to touch? But what if that leads to unholy thoughts outside of marriage?"_
Yeah, that's legit how shy some of them can be before they tie the knot. And it's understandable when you think about it. But once they put a ring on it, well, watch out, because it's make out city — and that's just what we saw on social media and Counting On. Imagine what we're not seeing! But really there's only one conclusion that can possibly be drawn. The Duggars are just like everyone else when it comes to wanting some loving and once they're allowed to show it, they can't stop, won't stop making out on camera.
