Jana Duggar’s Rumored Man Caleb Williams Pleads Not Guilty To Sexual Assault
Last month, Caleb Williams was arrested on two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Illinois, according to court documents obtained by In Touch. Now, a new report reveals he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Radar Online states that Caleb — who was once rumored to be courting Jana Duggar — appeared in an Illinois court on Nov. 28, two days after his arrest and entered the plea.
The 26-year-old allegedly committed two Class 2 felonies, including inserting his finger and penis into a minor who was older than 13 but younger than 17. The first crime allegedly took place between May 29, 2015, and Aug. 1, 2016, while the second was alleged to have happened between Aug. 1, 2016, and May 31, 2018, in Logan County, IL.

According to the docs, Caleb was released on bond by his mother Dawn Williams, who signed the paperwork. Caleb is also the son of Jeffrey Williams and has an older brother Josh and three younger siblings, Danielle, Jonathan, and Moriah. It is unclear whether he is related to the minor or minors he is accused of assaulting.
Caleb has been spotted out and about with the famous TLC family on several occasions. At the time, fans were hoping to see a spark between him and the eldest Duggar daughter. “Is that a future man??? Maybe for Jana???” one person asked on Facebook at the time. Another hopeful added, “Is that Jana’s boyfriend?”
Fans asked so often, in fact, that he took to his now-deleted social media to set the record straight. “Now to clear the fog and avoid any confusion: Read my lips… I am not dating Jana Duggar,” he wrote. “Over the past several months since an extremely unflattering image was posted by my friends and spread across the world faster than a viral cat video, there has been speculation regarding a relationship between myself and Jana,” he continued. “The extent of our relationship is purely friends and nothing more. Hopefully with this clarification, the Internet (as well as the space-time continuum) can heal from being broken the day my Gluteus Maximus gave Kim Kardashian. a run for her money.”
According to Radar, Caleb is now on probation and was ordered to have “no contact with anyone under the age of 18.” He has also been ordered to stay within the state of Illinois until his next court date in January.
