Fans of the A&E Network's Dog the Bounty Hunter — which aired its series finale in June 2012 after nearly eight years — may remember meeting Duane "Dog" Chapman's nephew Justin Bihag.
The cast member definitely had a rough go of things, which we saw play out on the show, as he was involved in an accident back in 2007 that led to having part of his leg amputated. In 2014, when he filed a suit against the network and the Dog the Bounty Hunter stars over unpaid appearances — he alleged in court docs that “once the Chapmans were informed of the accident, they proceeded to do interviews with the media to use the accident as a promotional tool for the show,” according to New York Daily News.
The outlet added Justin alleged that he lost custody of his child in addition to suffering from depression and getting addicted to drugs.
In 2015, he surfaced in the comments section on a blog called Unofficial Dog News and said, "I will fight for justice and what I believe in. God bless and aloha."
The accident took place in Lower Puna, HI, when he struck a tree with his vehicle. He was arrested and charged with a DUI and driving without a license and insurance following his hospitalization.

Justin's Facebook bio suggests that he currently lives in Pahoa, HI, although he is from Denver, CO. He studied at SUNY Albany and boasts that he's #BeenThroughItAll and is a #ProudFather. He also seemingly goes by life mottos #LiveToInspire and #LiveToMotivate.
Today, he appears to be pursuing a music career and can be heard on Reverb Nation.
It sounds like he has come a long way from his Dog the Bounty Hunter days!
