Fans have been rooting for Cory Wharton and Cheyenne Floyd to get together since pretty much their first episode of Teen Mom OG. Heck, even Maci Bookout, the pair’s costar, ships them together. In a new Instagram Live, though, the MTV stars gave their followers a little hope for their relationship. After watching the season finale of the show together, the new Teen Mom stars posted a video online — and we’re pretty much obsessed. Check out the gallery to see what happened between Cory and Cheyenne.
Cheyenne and Cory took their daughter, Ryder, to Michigan.
They were heading out to visit Cory’s fam, but they travelled as a little family themselves.

And they had plenty of fun during the trip.
“Omg I just saw Cheyenne from Teen Mom OG at the Grand Rapids airport,” Cory posted on Instagram, joking around with Chey and pretending to take paparazzi photos of her.

Cheyenne was clearly more than happy to play along.
And things almost looked like they’d turned a little flirty as she posed for the camera.

Later that night, they settled in to watch the show’s season finale together.
“Cheers to a good season,” Chey wrote on her Instagram Story.

Cory had his own toast to give.
“Cheers to one season!” he shouted back.

And the two just kept joking around.
“Get your bag up!” the father exclaimed loudly, sticking his tongue out.

Cheyenne couldn’t help but laugh.
“Oh my god, you ruin everything,” she complained, but she was clearly loving it.

After the episode ended, though, things took a turn.
Cory got down on one knee as his daughter’s mother beamed at him, and fans promptly lost their s–t. “SCREEN RECORDD,” one fan wrote in the comments, wanting to make sure the whole thing was captured for later.

But it turned out that the ~couple~ were still just playing around.
“Fakinggggg,” another fan wrote, calling Cory on his gag. As for Cheyenne, well her face said it all — surprised but ultimately not impressed.

She came around, though, and the pair admitted it was all in good fun.
Still, fans couldn’t help but feel let down — and some were even worried that Cheyenne herself was pretty disappointed. “Why are you playing with her heart?” they wanted to know, with others writing “You play too much!”

For now, we’re just glad to see them co-parenting well.
And maybe one day Cheyenne will get a real proposal from Cory. We can wait!
