For artists, music is a way of sharing personal experiences with their fans — and Nicki Minaj is no exception.
That’s why the Internet is asking: Did the 31-year-old rapper just admit she lost a child after getting pregnant as a teen?

Earlier today, Dec. 3, Nicki released a new track, titled 'All Things Go,' from her upcoming album, 'The Pinkprint.' During the verse in question, she opens up about her family — particularly her 16-year-old brother, Micaiah — and alludes to a lost love named Aaron and a child they conceived.
She says the child, a boy, would be 16 — meaning she was likely 15-years-old when and if she got pregnant.
The verse goes:
“I love my mother more than life itself, and that’s a fact/I’d give it all, if somehow I could just rekindle that/She never understands, why I’m so overprotective/The more I work, the more I feel like, somehow they’re neglected/I want ‘Caiah to go to college, just to say, ‘We did it!’
“My child with Aaron, would’ve been 16 any minute/So in some ways I feel like ‘Caiah is the both of them/It’s like he’s 'Caiah’s little angel, looking over him/And I know Jelani will always love me, and I’ll always love him/And I’m just his little sister, not Nicki Minaj, when I’m around him.”
The fast-rapping artist recently opened up about her desires to have children once she puts out five albums — though ‘The Pinkprint’ is only her third studio release.

“After the fifth, I’ll probably have my baby,” she told ‘Complex’ magazine last month.
“I wonder if I’m going to be one of those women who balances my child with a career. I always said, ‘When I have my baby, it’s going to be all about my baby.’ I don’t want the child feeling like they don’t have all my attention, so I always said, ‘I’m going to take a little break.’ But we’ll see.”
