Kailyn Lowry Seemingly Shades Her Ex Jo Over Child Support Demands: ‘I Missed The Fashion Nova Party!’

So sneaky! Kailyn Lowry turned to Twitter on Nov. 15 to seemingly shade her ex, Jo Rivera. The Teen Mom 2 star appeared to take a jab at Jo over child support demands, though she didn’t exactly name names! But it doesn’t take much work to read between the lines.

Kailyn wrote on the social media platform, “I’m so sad I missed the fashion nova party last night 😭 but I got child support to pay 😭😂.” She was likely talking about Cardi B‘s collaboration with the viral brand Fashion Nova to launch a clothing collection, which is already sold out. So Kailyn did, in fact, miss the “party” if she didn’t snap up some pieces quick.

Kailyn and Jo have battled over child support for a long time, mostly in the sense that Kailyn was trying to get support from Jo. But recently, her ex and the father of her son, Isaac, filed for child support from her.

In an episode of her podcast, Coffee Convos, Kailyn revealed, according to OK!, “Jo has filed for child support. So, I am a firm believer that child support should be paid when it’s needed. Jo had been paying child support for a long time and we were in the process of taking him off because we now have 50/50 custody so we switch every Sunday. I was going to take him off. I even, from the time he got 50/50 until now, I had even offered to him to pay, give him his money back because I didn’t need his child support since we’ve had 50/50.”

Kailyn continued, “I’m shocked not because he filed for child support because if he needs it, he needs it. I’m shocked in the way that he did it. He did it so sneaky…I feel like he was kind of plotting to do it behind my back…He was always the one preaching to me about talking things out before going to court.”

Kailyn said she was “honestly hurt” by the situation, and it looks like she may be turning that hurt into snark on social media. She may have been joking about the child support comment, but it’s rooted in a very real issue she’s dealing with regarding her ex. Here’s to the both of them getting this all worked out very soon.
