Did they call it quits? Split rumors have been swirling around Joe Budden and Cyn Santana after fans noticed some potential social media hints, and now he’s finally addressing the speculation. The Love & Hip Hop: New York star broke his silence while taking the stage over the weekend.

“We didn’t break up,” Joe, 38, revealed during a live taping of his podcast. “There’s been no breakup. Now, words are important. So what does that mean? What that means is neither one of us said it’s over.” However, the reality star also confirmed they “haven’t spoken in a little while.”

Joe added, “I think her phone’s been dead for a few weeks.” It seems he’s not even sure about the status of their relationship as he asked the Tampa crowd, “Can you break up without saying it?” The VH1 alum then joked, “I didn’t take it no way when she moved all her s–t out of the house.”

Meanwhile, Cyn, 26, took to Twitter on May 6 with a cryptic message, indirectly responding to Joe’s question. “Actions speak louder than words,” she wrote. “People have months broken up and don’t even know it. But God reveals all truths.” The Love & Hip Hop starlet recently fueled split rumors by sharing a new video of herself jamming out to Beyoncé’s breakup-inspired track “Don’t Hurt Yourself.” On top of that, both have unfollowed each other and deleted each other’s photos.

The couple shares a precious son named Lexington, whom they welcomed back in December 2017, while he also has a son from another relationship. In December 2018, Joe and Cyn got engaged in front of a cheering crowd. “Cynthia Santana, will you marry me?” he said, and she replied, “I want to spend this life and the next life with you.” We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds.
