Demi Lovato Shares Unretouched Bikini Photos: ‘No Photoshop Please and Thank You’

What’s wrong with being confident? Demi Lovato has been feeling herself lately, and her recent Instagram activity definitely seems to prove it. The pop star took to Instagram on Saturday, September 14, to share not one, but two super sexy bikini photos as she posed for selfies in a mirror — and she made sure to let the haters know the pictures were unretouched and not Photoshopped!

“No Photoshop pls & thank u. Also big thanks to @izabelag4 & @maremareswimw for my new fav bikini… y’all know my thing for leopard print bikinis and now, of course, lime green 💚💚💚,” the 27-year-old captioned her post.

Fans flooded the comments to praise Demi for not being afraid to show the real her on social media. “GIRL you don’t NEED photoshop!!! 😍😍😍,” one fan wrote, and another commented, “Wear that confidence! Love it! 💙🔥.”

It seems like Demi is ready to embrace her body, flaws and all, after she overcame her fears and bravely shared an unretouched photo of herself in a bikini on Instagram on September 5.

“This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!! I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited — and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me. This is what I got. I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards. So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day.”

She went on to gush over how great it felt for her to return to working in TV and film without having the added stress of getting a “strenuous” workout in before her workday. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer also said she no longer deprives herself of birthday cake because of her “crazy diet s–t.”

“Anyway, here’s me, RAW, REAL! And I love me. And you should love you too! Now back to the studio … I’m working on an anthem … 🙏🏼🙌🏼🤷🏻‍♀️,” she continued. “Also, just so everyone’s clear … I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do.
