’90 Day Fiancé’ Star David Posts Rare Photo With His Son, Jacob, 6 Months After He Was Shot in the Face
We’re so glad this story has a happy ending! 90 Day Fiancé star David Toborowsky got the scare of his life on Jan. 28, 2018, when his 18-year-old son was accidentally shot in the face by his friend. It has now been seven months since Jacob Toborowsky was injured, and his dad shared a rare photo with him on Aug. 24. “Having birthday lunch with Jacob and my Dad. Awesome afternoon,” David captioned the pic. We can’t believe how great Jacob looks! Unfortunately it seems like Jacob will always have a scar from the harrowing experience, but he doesn’t seem to mind too much, because he’s happy and smiling in the photo, and it could have been so much worse.
Fans are so glad to see Jacob looking healthy and normal after everything he went through. “He looks great! It kind of looks like a cute dimple ?,” said one fan in the comments of the scar. “Glad you all got to get together, and I’m happy to see him healing so well,” agreed another.
While Jacob is doing well now, it was definitely a hard road to get there. On Instagram, Jacob kept fans updated during his surgery to remove the bullet, which he called, “the worst pain I felt in a long time.” Still, it sounds like he’s grateful to be alive. “Bruh getting shot is never fun but I thank God that I was spared,” he wrote. We couldn’t be happier for him!
