He may be banned from talking about Jenelle Evans on social media, but that doesn’t mean David Eason will stop talking about his marriage. On Wednesday, November 6, the Teen Mom 2 alum took to his Instagram Story to reflect on the state of his marriage. Though he didn’t mention his ex by name, he did share a photo of his wedding ring — and then another photo of his ring finger without the jewelry. Check out the gallery below to see what David had to say about his relationship.

Separating

The news of the couple’s split first dropped on Thursday, October 31 when Jenelle, 27, revealed she left her husband. In a statement shared on Instagram, she explained what was going on.

Changes

“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” she wrote. “I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty, but it’s been my life.”

Parenting

“Like anyone else, I want what’s best for my kids, and I want to be happy,” she continued. “With time away from Teen Mom, I’ve started to look at my life differently, and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now.”

Leaving

“The kids and I have moved away from David,” she told fans. “Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end, but I know that’s what is best for me and for my kids.”

Divorce

“Today, I’ve filed papers to start that process,” she said at the time. Thanking fans for their support, she finished, “Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together, but you’ll hear from us again soon.”

Speaking Out

Though Jenelle has gone pretty much radio silent on social media in the days since, David, 31, has plenty to say. The MTV alum has thrown shade at his ex in all kinds of ways.

Petty

In addition to pointing out his estranged wife’s past violent behavior, he’s also called her stupid, posted a throwback photo with the couple’s daughter and shared a recent photo of the animals Jenelle left behind.

Police

“At least these guys know how to keep me company!” he captioned the photo of the farm life — and then went on to allegedly try to report his wife and daughter missing.

Protection

That online activity was seemingly put to a stop when Jenelle obtained a temporary restraining order that banned her ex from talking about her online, but now he’s finding ways around it.

Reflecting

Though he didn’t mention his ex or any of her kids in his recent post, he did talk about their marriage in two photos he shared to his Instagram Story on November 6.

Ring

“I guess I can take this off now …” he captioned a photo of his wedding ring on his hand, adding a sad-faced emoji for emotional effect.

In a second post, he shared a photo of his hand with the ring moved out of the way. “It’s gonna take some time for that finger to heal up,” he captioned the image.

Though he may have found a way around the protective order, the posts don’t actually get him any closer to talk to Jenelle directly.

In addition to the legal paperwork, Jenelle is also doing her part to stay away from David — including moving out of state from the North Carolina home that they shared.

According to recent reports, the reality star is living in Tennessee with her kids. She’s also asking for temporary custody of Ensley, the daughter she and David share.
