BRB While We Obsess Over Danielle Busby’s Hilarious Childhood Halloween Costume
It’s that time of year! Halloween is right around the corner, and in honor of the haunted holiday, we thought we’d share this throwback pic of Danielle Busby — when she was about Blayke‘s age! Back in 2014, the OutDaughtered star took to Instagram to post the hilarious snap and captioned it: “Need an idea for a Halloween outfit??” See if you can spot which one she is, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.
It’s no secret that the famous family — whose hit show airs on TLC — enjoys Oct. 31. Last year, seven of the eight Busbys dressed up as space cadets with Danielle being the “hot Martian mama,” At the time, her husband Adam captioned the series of shots, “Had a great time last night with my little space cadets and my hot Martian momma. #halloween2017#houstonwehaveaproblem#houstonstrong.” So cute!
Unfortunately, there seemed to be a purpose behind their outfit choices. Last year, Houston was rocked by Hurricane Harvey — and Danielle’s mother, Mimi, lost nearly everything in the aftermath. “We have thrown out MiMi’s entire house today, it’s devastating,” they wrote on Facebook. “Though stuff is just stuff and can always be replaced, it’s not easy tossing your belongings. One thing is for sure, we all stick together and will make it through!”
A few days later, Danielle took to her blog to share an update writing, “My Mom, MiMi, as well as tons of other close friends of ours have lost everything. We were not able to get into MiMi house for about 4 days after the storm due to the high water. We had to throw away pretty much EVERYTHING. It has been very emotional…having to throw away family heirlooms, photos from when we were all kids…just… all around our memories.”
Yikes. We can’t wait to see what the famous fam decides to dress up as this year! Here’s to hoping it’s something a little more lighthearted.
