Lauren Swanson Shares Heartbreaking Details About Her Miscarriage on ‘Counting On’
This week’s episode of TLC’s hit reality TV series Counting On took fans on an emotional rollercoaster. Fans got to watch the Duggar family attempt to bake cakes for the first time — yes, you read that right! Jessa Duggar, Jana Duggar, Kendra Caldwell and Lauren Swanson battled it out in teams to find out who could make the best gluten-free and sugar-free cake which would, in turn, convince John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett to include it as a groom’s cake in their wedding. The little kids helped too, with Josie Duggar, Jordyn Duggar, Johannah Duggar, Jennifer Duggar, Jackson Duggar and yes, even Tyler Duggar, getting in on the cake baking action.
The episode took an emotional turn when Lauren opened up about the heartbreaking details of her miscarriage. But even in that difficult moment, the 19-year-old was still grateful to the Swanson and Duggar families for being a source of comfort for her and her husband, Josiah Duggar.
