Fans Slam Jinger Duggar for Sharing Yet ~Another~ Photo of Books: ‘We Get It, Jeremy Is Literate’
Stop the presses — were you all aware that a Duggar husband can read? That’s basically the joke a lot of Jinger Duggar’s followers made after she shared yet another picture of books to her Instagram on May 29. The picture itself was a rather cute shot of her daughter, Felicity Vuolo, whom she shares with husband Jeremy Vuolo. However, the tyke seemed strategically placed in front of a bookshelf, and Counting On fans appeared a little sick of being reminded that Jeremy — shocker! — likes books.
“She shares her daddy’s love for good bookstores! 📚” Jinger, 25, captioned the photo. Felicity looked as adorable as ever in the shot, but people in the comments were not amused by the background, since Jinger tends to share a lot of posts reminding people that her hubby is a bit of a book nerd. “We get it. Jeremy is literate. Do any of his beloved books challenge his views and beliefs?” one person commented. Not a bad question!
Another fan wrote in response to Jinger’s post, “Look, guys, I read!!! Did you forget that?? Did you forget how smart I am?? 🙄🙄🙄🙄 We get it, Jeremy.” Clearly, fans have some feelings about Jinger and her 31-year-old husband’s usual Instagram aesthetic.
Indeed, on March 28, Jinger posted a close-up photo of one of her favorite books as part of a giveaway. But in reality, it’s Jeremy who tends to post the most pics of books on his Instagram, which some fans are apparently starting to get fed up with. He also shared a shot of Felicity in front of a bookshelf on May 30 and made sure to include a ~professional~ photo of himself surrounded by his book collection on May 23. “I spend many hours each week behind this desk, in that chair, studying, administrating, praying, and counseling,” he claimed in the caption. OK, yeah, we get why fans might be a little over all of these book-themed photos from the Vuolos.
