Coco Austin Is Planning Daughter Chanel’s 4th Birthday Party Extravaganza: ‘It Has to Be Fabulous’

Balloons, streamers and a Costco sheet cake are not going to cut it for this famous family. With Chanel Nicole’s fourth birthday around the corner, Coco Austin shared some of her plans for her daughter’s big day — all of which are fit for a princess, she told In Touch exclusively.

“I always tell people I wish I could just be one of those parents [who are] like ‘OK, let’s go to Chuck E. Cheese’ and not worry about the hoopla with it,” the 40-year-old joked. “Since day one, she’s had such fabulous parties,” she said, adding that people now expect each party to be bigger and better than the last.

“I mean, I’m celebrating her birthday like a 16-year-old celebrates their sweet 16. I’m celebrating it like that at 2 and 3. I don’t know what the hell I’m going to do when she actually gets to 16,” she laughs. “Maybe do a birthday in a hot air balloon or something!”

Coco said Chanel’s parties are always all about the theme and this year she thinks they will go with LOL Dolls. She makes sure to pick a venue that is great for the kids to play but still over the top. “It has to be fabulous. Like I said, I wish I could just go down the street and go to Chuck E. Cheese. Yeah, well, no. I don’t think that can happen. It just wouldn’t sit well with me.”

As Chanel’s birthday lands on Turkey Day, Coco and dad, Ice-T, had to get creative to make sure they celebrated Chanel and Thanksgiving dinner. Coco said that Chanel’s birthday extravaganza usually takes place the weekend before to make sure no one is traveling. As for her actual day of birth, a birthday cake is always on their Thanksgiving table — and maybe some candles in the turkey!

Chanel is the apple of Coco’s eye and the model sees a lot of potential in her little girl. “I see her personality. That’s where it’s kind of going automatically. She likes to perform. She likes to act out for you. She likes to be a comedian in your eyes. She likes to sing and dance. And that’s kind of what ‘star’ entails, you know, they want to be that shining light,” she told In Touch exclusively. One thing is for sure: Chanel will definitely be the star of the show on her big day!
