Nothing like a mommy-daughter bond. Coco Austin took to Instagram on Friday, March 13, to share a photo of herself breastfeeding her 4-year-old daughter, Chanel Marrow.

“At a time when the world feels like its coming to an end … suck up as much love as you can! I know the moms out there will appreciate this pic! I’ve been getting a lot of props in the breastfeeding community and get tons of emails from woman/moms appreciating me bringing light to the subject,” Coco, 40, wrote in her caption on Instagram. “I write a baby blog about my journey with Chanel and soon I will write about what it’s like to continue boob time with a 4-year-old … I get tons and tons of requests that want me to speak on it!”

The blonde beauty went on to explain why she still breastfeeds her toddler. “At this point in nursing it’s just for comfort and believe me, the girl loves meat so it’s not like she isn’t eating real food …[beaming face emoji],” she added. “Thank you to all that understand my view … I see most of you are so eager to side with me and I too root for you in your journey as well … Us moms are connected [growing heart emoji].” She also included the hashtags, “#breastfeedingforcomfort #weenwhentheyareready #toddlerbreastfeeding #boobtime #nursingmom #proudmama #teammommy.”

Fans took to the comments, and while some took issue with the fact that Coco is still breastfeeding, many praised the former Ice & Coco star for being open about her journey. “Awwww how she touches your face [heart eyes emoji] [crying emoji]. So sweet, Coco,” one fan wrote while adding three red heart emojis. “It’s completely natural,” another wrote with three 100 points emojis.

In October, the former reality star exclusively told In Touch that she will stop breastfeeding when Chanel starts to “self-ween.” “Almost four years later I’m so thankful and every single day I’m blessed,” the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star gushed. “I actually I give up my blessing during that time, like, ‘Oh, I’m so glad that God gave me this moment with my child because I’m going to be so heartbroken when she’s not going to want to do this anymore.’ And that’s going to come, eventually, it’s going to come.”
