Cindy Crawford’s 19-Year-Old Son Presley Gerber Arrested For DUI
It looks like Cindy Crawford‘s son Presley Gerber spent the last hours of 2018 in jail. The supermodel’s son was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, Dec. 30, In Touch confirmed via jail records. Presley was arrested for a misdemeanor DUI in Beverly Hills and spent a few hours in jail. While Beverly Hills authorities said he was released on $15,000 bail, Presley’s rep said he didn’t bail out.
According to reports, Presley, 19, was originally pulled over for speeding in his Tesla, but cops realized he smelled like alcohol. They then performed a field sobriety test, which Presley reportedly failed. Cops then booked him and brought him into custody. It’s unclear what Presley’s blood alcohol level was, but it wouldn’t matter since he was drinking underage. The state of California has a zero-tolerance policy for underage drinking, so any blood alcohol level would have resulted in an arrest. If Presley is convicted, he could lose his license for at least one year.
Presley and his younger sister Kaia have been rising as new faces in modeling, following in their mother Cindy’s footsteps. Back in December, the entire family stepped out in support of Kaia, 17, as she was awarded the Model of the Year award at the 2018 British Fashion Awards in London, according to People. Presley’s modeling career has started to take off within the last year, with campaigns for fashion designers like Calvin Klein and Yves Saint Laurent, and he also walked in the Hugo Boss Spring/Summer 2019 show during Berlin Fashion Week. Most recently, Presley starred in an ad campaign for Tod’s in Paper Magazine.
Cindy, 52, is very supportive of Presley and Kaia’s modeling careers and she’s constantly gushing over her kids on social media. Last July, Cindy shared a sweet tribute to Presley on his 19th birthday. “Happy birthday you little rascal! @presleygerber I am so proud of you!” she wrote in her caption on Instagram.
