What’s going on here? Sister Wives star Christine Brown shared a photo of her backyard in Arizona and managed to thoroughly confuse fans in the process. “I LOVE it when it rains in Flagstaff #flagstaff #flagstaffrain #rain #thunder #lightning #sogladidonthavetomowmyyard,” she captioned the picture of the yard with mountains and clouds in the distance. Almost immediately, the questions began.

“Are you in your new house yet?” one person asked, possibly referring to the huge house Kody Brown said he wanted to build for all of his wives and kids in the most recent season of the TLC series. “Are you all moving into one big house?” someone else echoed. A different follower questioned, “Are you and the other sister wives living closer to each other yet?”

As far as we know, the Sister Wives stars still live fairly far apart in their new home state. Radar Online reported in February that first wife Meri Brown is renting a four-bedroom, five-bathroom home that is nine miles from Christine’s three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. The outlet reported that Meri, 48, is 13 miles from Janelle Brown’s house.

“Why does no one answer about living arrangements?” one follower commented on Christine’s post about her yard. “Are the houses built? Or. Let me guess. You can’t say.” Another person asked, “Is your house finished yet?” but Christine, 47, didn’t appear to answer any of the inquiries about her living situation.

In July, Janelle, 50, also shared a photo on Instagram that seemed to be from the family land in Arizona. “Reservations for dinner at our favorite space tonight,” she joked at the beginning of the caption. “Our piece of heaven. #dinealfresco #bluesky #mountainair.” Fans seemed to believe she was offering a peek at their Flagstaff property and asked similar questions like, “Are y’all close to breaking ground on the property yet?” and “When are you going to build? I hope your show continues ❤️.”

Kody and his wives admitted they weren’t living in homes on their new land just yet during a tell-all special at the end of Season 13 of Sister Wives. But that was in April 2019. If Christine is just offering fans a photo from the backyard she’s enjoying in the meantime, what’s the status of their plans to build a place where they can all be close again? Fans may just have to wait and see.
