Christina El Moussa Splits From Boyfriend, He Checks Into Rehab (EXCLUSIVE)

Christina El Moussa has ended it with new boyfriend Doug Spedding, who cheated on her and has entered in-patient rehab for addiction issues, In Touch is exclusively reporting.

Christina discovered Doug was meeting up with an ex-girlfriend behind her back and that he was doing drugs again before she ended it, a source close to the situation reveals. (In 2011, Doug was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after being caught with methamphetamine. He subsequently completed a diversion program.)

“Christina encouraged him to go back to rehab. Christina is the type of person who sees the best side of others, and that’s how she was with Doug. Caring about someone does not save someone and Christina knows that. She just wanted to help him,” says an insider.

A second source adds Doug was unfaithful to Christina. She found out he was back seeing his ex Tracy Diaz. “Christina went to put an alarm on Doug’s cell phone to wake him up and she saw text messages [between Doug and Tracy].”

In June, In Touch exclusively obtained police and court records revealing that the wealthy retired car dealership owner has had not only a felony drug arrest, but arrests for domestic violence against Nicole Doucette, the mother of his 10-year-old twin daughters, and has broken restraining and stay-away orders.

“Christina didn’t just turn her back on him. She respects and supports Doug’s decision to take the steps to make changes in his life,” the source explains. “Ultimately she cares about him and his daughters and has no doubt this is what is best for them.”
