Chris Martin Resurfaces in London After Rumored Split From Dakota Johnson

Out and about! Chris Martin was spotted on a relaxing stroll in London on Wednesday, June 19, amid rumors that he and girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, called it quits. The Coldplay frontman appeared to be in good spirits while chatting with his longtime manager Phil Harvey.

Chris has seemingly been keeping a low profile ever since the rumors began, but now that he resurfaced in England, fans are looking for answers regarding their relationship status.

Just a few days ago, the actress, 29, was photographed on the set of her film Covers following their apparent split. Dakota and Chris, 42, have been together for over two years. The power couple was first romantically linked when they were spotted on a sushi date in mid-October 2017.

Fans started speculating there was trouble in paradise between the two because they haven’t been seen together in public since November 2018. According to reports, the pair decided to part ways because of their different stances on starting a family together. “Chris made it clear that he wants more kids as soon as possible but Dakota’s career has really taken off and that’s the last thing she wanted to think about right away,” a friend of the singer told the Sunday Express.

“It got to the point, last month, where a light seemed to flick on in both their heads and they realized they were pulling in completely opposite directions — so they decided to call it a day,” the insider added, noting how both stars are “broken-hearted” that their romance didn’t work out.

Chris was previously married to another notable A-list star, Gwyneth Paltrow, for ten years before they called it quits in March 2014. The exes share two kids together, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12. Dakota reportedly spent last Thanksgiving with Chris, Gwyneth and their kids, so they appeared to have a great dynamic together. Hopefully everything works out for the best!
