He’s giving credit where it’s due! Chris Lopez had the sweetest things to say about Kailyn Lowry, even though she addressed their tumultuous relationship in her new book, A Letter of Love. The Teen Mom 2 star’s third baby daddy gushed over her accomplishments.

“Grab a copy of A Letter of Love if you haven’t, I tried to act like I didn’t want to read it…but I did lol,” Chris tweeted on Sept. 26. “And even though it’s things about me I may not agree with, overall proud of her! I don’t know many people that have four published books lol.” In Kailyn’s new book which was released on Sept. 21, she opened up about how their romance was toxic at one point. “I’ve had my bedroom window broken while the baby was asleep with me in the room,” she wrote in excerpts shared on Radar. “My back door had been broken while all of my kids were at home. I’ve had s–t about me told to my children.”

The MTV star, 26, said they tried to get back together shortly after the birth of their son Lux in August 2017, but they couldn’t sort out their issues as a couple. “I’ve been left to take care of everything,” Kailyn wrote. “Even the responsibility for all of the baby formula was left up to me. Because I can be totally responsible for our child doesn’t mean that I should take care of everything.” On the plus side, it looks like they’ve since worked out a better co-parenting arrangement because they reunited for Lux’s first birthday!

On the other hand, Kailyn Lowry’s other ex, Javi Marroquin, was not so thrilled about being mentioned in her new book. After their nasty divorce back in 2016, Kailyn wrote that she knew marrying Javi would be something she regretted in the future. “Who tf would write that in a book dedicated to your children,” Javi, 25, tweeted in response. “Regardless of how our marriage ended stop lying and trying to convince yourself what you did was OK. Forreal I really don’t wanna come on here and spill tea because we’re past that forreal.”
