It looks like this season of Teen Mom 2 is set to be chock full of sibling rivalry in the DeBoer household! Fans have yet to see Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer’s baby boy Watson Cole on TV, but we’re sure in the coming episodes we'll get all the details on the little guy growing up. And while big sister Aubree is totally in love with her bro, we can tell going from only child to sharing the spotlight is not an easy transition.

In a sneak peek, Chels talks to Aubree about how she’s handling the transition, and it’s clear the mother-of-two is asking her seven-year-old girl to step up to the plate and learn some maturity. As the mother-daughter duo are driving in the car, Aubree learns an important lesson about her new role as big sis.

“I need to talk to you,” Chelsea says to her daughter who is sitting in the backseat. “Your attitude has been so bad lately and so negative and I don’t even understand why. Why do you think you’ve been so crabby?”

Aubs credits her behavior to a lack of sleep. “Maybe, I’m just tired sometimes, but I don’t feel it,” she says back to her mom.” To which her mother responds, “Well, why don’t you try taking more naps? Because I don’t even know what to do. Like, why did you just start thinking that you don’t have to listen anymore?”

Chelsea then brings up the fact that she noticed her daughter’s shift in behavior after bringing home her baby brother. The 25-year-old is clearly taking the no-nonsense route in this argument with her daughter and just simply telling it like it is.

“I think things changed after Watson was born,” she says. “I think that’s when you started being crabby.” Aubree responds to this by crediting her brother’s cuteness to the reason she’s been so difficult. “It’s just because he’s so cute,” she says, “and when I have to go to bed, you guys get to be with him and I have to be trying to go to sleep. You get to have fun with him, while I’m just sleeping and bored.”

Though Chels tries to be sympathetic to her daughter, it’s clear that she’s trying to remind her the importance of letting the parents of the household be parents. “But you need to learn that you’re a kid,” she says to her daughter, “and we’re the parents, and that’s just how life goes. That’s part of being a kid. It doesn’t mean to throw a huge fit or get mad.”

Fans were quick to respond to Chelsea’s handling of the situation on Twitter. And while she had some critics, most of the feedback was positive!

Well, since Teen Mom 2 starts again tonight, we’re sure we’re gonna get an inside look at Aubree’s relationship with her brother!
