Co-parenting at its finest! Despite announcing their split in May 2018, Channing Tatum and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, have made good on their promise to put their daughter, Everly, first. So much so, that the Magic Mike actor, 38, has revealed that his 5-year-old is doing more than OK amid her parent’s divorce proceedings.

“In my opinion and experience, Everly has appeared to adjust to our separation and living in two homes exceptionally well,” Channing detailed in a custody request order obtained by Life & Style. “I believe that she will thrive even more with structure and consistency because she is happy and more relaxed when she knows a plan.”

In addition to assuring Everly’s positive outlook to the court, Channing detailed some of the sweet comforts he’s provided his little girl since he and the actress, 38, went their separate ways. Not only has he decorated her room to fit a “fairytale and fantasy theme,” but he’s also created an “outdoor art space” and made sure there are pictures of Everly with both her parents in the house.

Wow … if only every couple could handle their split as gracefully as Jenna and Channing, right? In fact, even after the exes went on to find new partners — Channing is dating singer-songwriter Jessie J and Jenna’s new beau is actor and singer Steve Kazee — they still manage to coordinate family outings.

In the past few months alone, the former flames celebrated both Halloween and Christmas with their daughter. Channing and Jenna took Everly trick-or-treating together and made sure to read over her list to SantaIf that’s not enough to win them some kind of parenting award, we don’t know what is! We’re relieved to see that their daughter will always be taken care of … no matter who her parents are dating.
