Meghan King and Cuffe Owens

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star and the nephew of Joe Biden split after two months of marriage. Meghan made the announcement via Instagram Stories on December 27, stating, “I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out.”

“I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams,” she added.

Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid

Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid are “on a break” after dating more than two years, a source told Us Weekly. “They’re no longer dating.” The pair were first linked in June 2019.

Joe Giudice and Daniela Fittipaldi

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star and his attorney girlfriend of more than a year split in early December. “To be honest with you, I just don’t have [a] head set for a relationship right now. I got other things that I got going on right now that I need to get situated first,” Joe told In Touch in an exclusive video interview, adding, “Right now, you know, I’m just doing my thing.”

Aaron Carter and Melanie Martion

Aaron and his former fiancée, Melanie, split one week after they welcomed their son, Prince, the singer revealed in a series of tweets posted on November 30.

“Due to personal reason [sic] Melanie Martin and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the “I Want Candy” singer shared. “There has been a very big lie and my sister [Angel Carter] communicating w my ex-fiancé [sic] ruined everything considering she knew what angel tried to do to me in court thanks angel you ruined my family. God bless.”

The couple reconciled one week later, Us Weekly reported on December 7.

Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones

The In the Heights actor and the Marriage Story actress have called off their engagement a source confirmed to Life & Style, on November 30.

The couple, who met on the set of the then off-Broadway musical, Hamilton, in 2014, dated for four years before announcing they were engaged in 2018. 

Valerie Bertinelli and Tom Vitale

Valerie filed for legal separation from her husband, Tom Vitale, after 10 years of marriage on November 24. According to a filing obtained by In Touch, the Food Network star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation. 

Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark

The Bachelorette’s Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark have ended their relationship, a representative confirmed to Life & Style on November 22.

“They were in love, and they still care about each other, but they’re going their separate ways,” a source exclusively told Life & Style on November 19. “They really did have a good run.”

The former couple met during season 16 after Tayshia replaced Clare Crawley after she became engaged to now-ex Dale Moss just a few weeks into the season.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello announced their split in November 2021 following speculation.

“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” the duo wrote in a joint statement via Instagram on November 17. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

So … what went wrong? A source exclusively told Life & Style they had been “gearing up” for their breakup “for some time.” The insider explained, “They’ve been better friends than romantic partners for a while … It was time to move on, they both knew it,” said the source about their two-year relationship. “Their statement is true, they really will stay close as time goes on.”

Christine and Kody Brown

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” the Sister Wives star revealed on November 2.”We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”

Kody added in his own message via Instagram that he feels a “great deal of sadness” over their uncoupling.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik

The model and former One Direction singer “silently separated,” a source told Life & Style on October 28. The pair dated on-and-off since 2015 and welcomed their daughter, Khai, in September 2020.

JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew

After less than a year of dating, JoJo and Kylie have called it quits. “JoJo and Kylie did break up,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on October 20. “Some [Dancing With the Stars] cast are aware about the breakup.” The insider added that Kylie “stopped attending the show so she hasn’t been seen in the audience since they split,” and that JoJo ” is focusing on the competition and giving her all. While it’s a rough time for her, she’s handling DWTS very professionally and still putting on a smile and giving 100 percent. She doesn’t want to let down her fans.”

A rep of JoJo did not immediately respond to Life & Style‘s request for comment.

Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her fiancé have called off their two-year engagement, a source confirmed to Us Weekly on September 28. “Steve broke up with Vicki while she was filming the [Real Housewives] spinoff show in the Berkshires,” the insider said.

The Bravolebrity and Steve started dating in 2016, and he proposed in April 2019. The now-exes were hoping to get hitched in April 2020 but postponed their ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic before their split. 

A rep for Vicki did not immediately respond to Life & Style’s request for comment.

Elon Musk and Grimes

The billionaire Tesla founder and the Canadian songstress “semi split” after three years and one son together due to his immense workload. “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms,” Elon told Page Six on September 24.

“It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA.,” he added, saying, “She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.” The former couple welcomed a son, X Æ A-12, on May 4, 2020.

Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes

Singer Jason Derulo announced he and his girlfriend, Instagram model Jena Frumes, had split via a September 23 tweet. He wrote, “Jena and I have decided to part ways. She is an amazing mother, but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Please respect our privacy in this time.” Jena gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son, only four months earlier on May 8.

The split came a shock to fans, as just two days prior, the pair celebrated their joint September 21 birthdays. Jena shared in an Instagram post, “Blessed to share the same day of birth with my lover. You are the most handsome, hardworking, talented, silly, loving human ever. You truly make me whole and I’m so grateful for the love we share. You and our mini make me the happiest girl in the world and I can’t wait to make more memories with you guys.”

Scott Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin

The model “[needed] time to reassess” her relationship with the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians personality, a source revealed to Life & Style on September 7. “They’re having space to figure out what they really want.” The couple did not reunite.

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook

Kaley and Karl announced that they were splitting up after three years of marriage on Friday, September 3, telling Life & Style in a statement, “Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions. We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary.”

The couple, who became engaged in November 2017 before marrying in June 2018, added in their joint statement, “We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further.”

Rick Harrison and Deanna Burditt

Pawn Stars vet Rick Harrison’s divorce from wife of nearly seven years Deanna Burditt completely flew under the radar, as it was revealed in August 2021 that he filed in Clark County, Nevada, on July 1, 2020, citing “tastes, mental dispositions, views, likes, and dislikes have become so divergent that they have become incompatible in marriage.” His paperwork wasn’t unearthed until TMZ reported on the split on August 16.

John Mellencamp and Natasha Barrett

The “Hurts So Good” rocker and his realtor girlfriend, Natasha Barrett, amicably split after several months of dating, a source exclusively told Closer on August 14. The pair were first identified as a couple when they were seen strolling hand in hand down the beach in Malibu over Memorial Day weekend.

Lindsie Chrisley and Will Campbell

On July 27, Lindsie Chrisley announced that she and her husband Will Campbell were splitting up after 9 years of marriage. The Coffee Convos podcast cohost wrote, “While one door closes, another opens,” next to a photo of herself smiling and holding the former couple’s son, Jackson.

After months of split speculation, the Jersey Shore alum confirmed the pair’s breakup via TikTok on July 26. Sammi participated in a viral Q&A challenge where she danced along to the music as questions flashed above her head. They read, “Are you coming back to Jersey Shore? No. Are you single? Yes. Are you happy? YESSS!”

Sammi and ex-fiancé Christian got engaged in March 2019 and were supposed to tie the knot in March 2020 but had to delay their nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic. In late May, fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted all of their pictures together.

Music mogul Scooter Braun and his wife, Yael Braun, split after seven years of marriage, Us Weekly reported on July 11. Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande‘s manager made things official by filing for divorce on July 21, Life and Style confirmed through case information about filing listed in the court docket.

Paulina Porizkova and Aaron Sorkin

Supermodel Paulina Porizkova and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin called it quits after a whirlwind three-month romance. The pair made their red-carpet debut at the Oscars on April 25, 2021. In a July 20 Instagram post, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model had nothing but kind words for Aaron.

“I’m so grateful for his presence in my life. He helped heal me and reclaim myself,” she explained. “There truly may be no better man, no man who’s more genuinely ‘good.’ He’s brilliant and witty and funny and sexy. The now-exes have been married for 11 years and share one son together, Kiyan. The former flames, who broke up in 2017 and rekindled their romance in 2018, have been separated for a while but remain friends, an insider told TMZ, claiming “everything about the divorce is amicable.”

The former One Directioner announced on June 7 that he had split from the actress and model. Jana Kramer announced she and husband Mike Caussin have split after six years of marriage. Life & Style confirmed she officially filed for divorce.

The former Real Housewives of Miami star and NBA baller called it quits following their drama-filled romance. “Larsa decided to distance herself from the drama,” a source told Us Weekly on April 5, likely referring to his divorce from Montana Yao. “He was going through a lot and the timing wasn’t right.”

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez

On March 12, multiple reports claimed singer and the retired Yankees player split and called off their two-year engagement. One day later, the couple denied their split, a rep for J. Lo confirmed to Life & Style.

On April 15, the A-listers announced they were done for good. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they wrote in a joint statement to Today. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. Kim filed for divorce from Kanye on February 19, after nearly seven years of marriage. The KUWTK star asked for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four kids, according to TMZ.

Ashley Benson and G-Eazy

The Pretty Little Liars actress and rapper split after nearly 10 months together, a source told E! News on February 8. The couple met while recording a cover version of Radiohead’s song “Creep” in April 2020.

Zoe Kravitz and Karl Glusman

The actress and her husband called it quits on January 2 after less than two years of marriage. According to Us Weekly, the Big Little Lies star filed for divorce from the Love star on December 23, 2020, in New York City.

Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew

The Love Island USA season 2 winners announced their split on January 16, three months after finishing the summer reality series in first place.

“This is extremely difficult for me to express but out of respect for those of you who supported me, and rode for me, I want you to know that Caleb and I are no longer together,” Justine wrote via Instagram. “I do ask for time as I continue to go through the process of heartbreak and healing as this has all been very hard for me.

The Bachelorette contestant confirmed his split from the season 16 leading lady on January 19, after getting engaged on episode 4 of the ABC reality series. Clare took to social media to issue her own statement two days later.

“I was made aware of a ‘mutual’ statement at the same time you all were, so I’ve needed some time to really digest this,” she wrote at the time. “Speaking for myself, my intentions with this relationship have always been very clear, so the truth is I am crushed.”

Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau

The Teen Mom 2 star confirmed her relationship with her fiancé was over on January 19. In a now-deleted Instagram Story video, she claimed her future husband cheated on her with his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry.

“I have dealt with my fair share of betrayal and pain my whole life, but what I learned today, what I found out today — from the kids none the less — just makes me feel like the last three years, they’ve just been waiting for this to happen,” she said in the video.

However, Javi denied the claims to In Touch in January 2021. “While I have tried to avoid a he said/she said situation [by] staying quiet, the accusations Lauren made against me this afternoon on Instagram are false,” he said. “My only focus right now is creating healthy coparenting relationships with both Lauren and Kail for the sake of my boys and bettering myself.”

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and the restaurateur called it quits after nearly four years of marriage — and over one year after their first split in September 2019.

“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” Daly told The Root in a statement on January 23. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom.”

Rebel Wilson and Jacob Busch

The former Pitch Perfect actress and the brewery owner called it quits after just five months of dating. “Lots on my mind … aghhhhhh …,” Rebel captioned an Instagram post on February 2, along with the hashtag “single girl headed to the Super Bowl.”
