She’s putting it all out there!

One of the most dramatic moments on this season of Teen Mom OG came when Matt Baier — a supposedly sober former drug addict — offered Xanax to Catelynn Lowell. And now, in her reunion interview with Dr. Drew, Cate is setting the record straight on how that incident came to happen.

The recent months have been incredibly rocky for Matt Baier and his former fiancée, Amber Portwood, who ended things with her ex once and for all when he failed a polygraph test (at the time, he was asked if he was texting another woman — he said no, the test said yes).

Matt has since confessed that he relapsed — and was in the middle of a two-day bender — when he offered the prescription pills to his co-star.

“The last time I took pills was roughly around four months ago when I was in New York. That was a big slap in the face. We went out for a press day for a couple of days, and after we finished the trip, we went to LA to film something,” he said in an interview.

He continued, “[While there] I saw one of the executives and asked them a question. He looked at me and said, ‘Matt, we had a two-hour conversation about this already. I didn’t remember the conversation or even seeing him in New York. I barely remembered the trip. That was the turning point for me, I had just blacked out an entire two-day trip — I have a problem again.”

Shortly after that incident — which was seemingly during the same NYC trip that he offered Cate pills — Matt vowed that he had a renewed focus on his sobriety.
