Baby’s first … pony! Tyler Baltierra took to Instagram on Saturday, March 9, to reveal he got his daughter, Novalee Reign, a horse. The Teen Mom OG star — and new dad to baby Vaeda — proudly gushed about the monumental moment and it’s pretty adorable. Keep scrolling for details.
“Making Novalee’s dream come true today & watching her face light up with pure bliss was so humbling as a father but also made me feel so proud of raising such a loving, caring & free spirited little girl that I am blessed to love & cherish,” the 27-year-old captioned the shot. “She felt extra special today & I live for moments like this as a Dad! #HerFirstPony#DaddysGirl 😍”

One day later on March 10, Ty took to social media yet again to post a series of other pics. This time, he wrote, “Novalee is so in love with her pony! She’s doing such a good job leading & bonding with her. We can’t wait to get her into 4-H & raise her on the farm! 🐴🐐🐓🐎”

Tyler’s wife, Catelynn Lowell, also got in on the #ProudParent moment. “As a little girl I always begged my mom to get me a pony and she could never afford it … ” she recalled, “So to be able to do it for my daughter was such an amazing feeling … This is a memory she will remember forever as will I … it’s something that her and I can bond over and I’ll be able to teach her … she was SO HAPPY #baltierrafarm#pony#blessed.”

Fans immediately began praising the duo for their parenting skills. “I love that you have her holding the lead rope properly so her little hand won’t get caught if something were to happen,” someone wrote. “Every little girl should have a pony.” Another shared, “Such a beautiful life you’re building for your babies.”

“More animals to take care of?! You have two kids, a wife to take care of, your father, your sister, you [own] a business and a bunch of animals!! I think it is great for her, really, but think about yourself. That’s a lot to take care of!!” Another chimed in, “Ponies are not dogs. She’s not letting it eat or acclimate to its surroundings.”

A third, meanwhile, claimed, “4-H please don’t train her to give love to animals and then sell her animals to slaughter … 4-H is such a horrific desensitizing program for children and needs to be abolished … “

“The big news is that we are expecting our rainbow baby,” Cate, 27, told Us Weekly. “This baby is our rainbow after the storm. I’m super excited … It was a huge shock at first. We were not planning it, especially after the miscarriage and how I went downhill with my mental illness.”

She added: “We were going to wait a really long time. We were using protection and everything and still got pregnant. This baby just wanted to be here. It was very unexpected.”

“It was very traumatic. [I saw] her shaking, and she’s got blood everywhere,” Tyler told a producer. “She kinda, like, cleaned herself up and we figured what was going on. Spotting’s normal, but clotting … all the clots are not. We just sat on the bed and cried. We just held another. There’s nothing you can really do.”
