Matt Roloff’s GF Caryn Chandler and Ex Amy Roloff Seemingly Put Differences Aside to Meet Baby Lilah

Babies bring people together. Tori Roloff and her husband, Zach, welcomed their first daughter, Lilah Ray Roloff, on November 19, and it seems like the whole family was eager to meet her. Both Matt Roloff’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, and his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, visited with the baby girl, seemingly putting their differences aside for the new grandbaby in the family.

“She’s here. Lilah Ray Roloff 💕 was born November 19th, 2019 to Zachary and Tori and big brother Jackson,” Amy, 55, captioned a photo of herself with her new granddaughter on November 22. “Woohoo! My granddaughter has my heart and is loved 💕 so much already. She’s beautiful and precious and a blessing to our family. I’m so looking forward to watching baby girl grow up, see Jackson and Lilah hang out and spending grandma time with them. Congrats Zachary and Tori. You two are amazing parents. Love you 💗 I couldn’t be happier and more excited to be a grandma again. 😊”

Meanwhile, Caryn wrote on the very same day, “Sugar and spice and everything nice … Welcome to the world baby girl! Newest Roloff is here and I didn’t want to let go. 💕🎀 #LilahRay #mamasdoinggreattoo.” The photo she shared was also very similar to the one Amy posted and looked like it even took place in the same room. Were the two women able to set aside any awkwardness for the sake of the newest little Roloff?

Little People, Big World fans know that Caryn and Amy aren’t exactly the best of friends. The relationship between an ex and a new flame can be awkward enough as it is, but there’s also the added weirdness of Amy alleging that Matt actually got involved with Caryn while they were still married.

“We had someone that worked for us for a very long time, on our farm,” Amy said in a resurfaced Facebook Live video recorded on March 31. “And I believe — this is all from my perspective — that there was more than just friends going on. And I think that evolved to a point where that got in the way of our marriage as well.” Matt later confronted a fan comment claiming he dated Caryn while Amy was still his spouse and said, “You couldn’t be further [from] the truth.”

No matter what really happened there, these photos make it seem like Amy and Caryn are willing to be civil when it comes to their adorable grandkids. After all, we’re sure no one wants to be cut off from visits with Jackson or Ember — and now Lilah, too!
