Cardi B Reportedly Turns Herself In To Police Following NYC Strip Club Showdown
She’s making moves! Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, reportedly turned herself in to police following an altercation at a strip club on Aug. 29. According to a new report, the rapper — and new mama — headed to the 109th precinct in Queens this morning wearing a white blouse and tan skirt.
“It was an altercation that happened in the club where she was involved throwing chairs at bartenders,” NYPD’s Cadet Serrata told Radar Online of the showdown. “At the moment, we are not sure if she threw them herself, but we know she was with a group of people that were throwing chairs.”
Cardi has been accused of ordering an attack against the employees at Angels Strip Club in Queens after claiming one of the girls had slept with her husband, rapper Offset. The 25-year-old was allegedly watching Offset perform at the club with rap trio Migos when she confronted the bartenders, sisters Jade and Baddie Gi.

These days, it seems like the “I Like It” rapper can’t stop making enemies. ICYMI, simmering tensions between her and fellow rapper Nicki Minaj came to a head during the New York Fashion Week Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party on Sept. 7, when Cardi tried to physically attack Nicki. The reason? Cardi claimed the 35-year-old insulted her ability to mother her two-month-old daughter, Kulture.
“Cardi’s dress looked ripped, her hair was being tugged on, and Cardi threw a shoe at Nicki but it missed her,” an eyewitness told In Touch at the time. “Cardi was then escorted out by security. She had a lump on her head after the fight, and there was a giant fistful of hair on the floor. One of Cardi’s assistants came and grabbed it and took it with her.” In fact, the two are now expected to write diss tracks about one another.
“Cardi is already penning her next revenge song about Nicki,” the insider continued. And Nicki has no plans to back down, either. Two days after the incident, she posted an Instagram video with her song “Hard White,” which features lyrics that seem to take aim at Cardi’s stripper past: “Uh, look at my knockoffs, I told ’em knock it off. Anything that Nicki do, you know they knock it off,” Nicki raps on the track, adding, “I ain’t ever have to strip to get the pole position. Hoes is dissin’? Okay, these hoes is wishin’.”
Sigh. Can’t we all just get along?!
