Caitlyn Jenner Shades Tristan Thompson by Leaving Him Out of Father’s Day Tribute
Was this deliberate, or are there just too many Kar-Jenner dads to keep track of? Caitlyn Jenner posted a touching Father’s Day tribute on June 16, including her own dad and many of the fathers of her grandkids. But she left out Tristan Thompson — Khloé Kardashian’s ex and the father of her daughter, True — and fans think she did so on purpose to be a little shady.
“To all the dads in my life — happy Father’s Day,” Caitlyn, 69, added to the caption of the Instagram post. “Starting with my father, a World War Two veteran. Dad, Burt, Brandon, Kanye, Rob, Scott, and Travis — Happy Father’s Day!” Notice the glaring omission?
Well, whether or not you saw it, plenty of followers in the comments of Caitlyn’s post noticed that Tristan, 28, was missing from the tribute. “Happy Father’s Day to everyone except Tristan,” one person commented. Another wrote, “She talked about the great fathers. Of course, Tristan isn’t included.” Ouch.
Caitlyn’s daughters didn’t mention the omission — at least, not when a few of them commented on the post themselves. “Happy Father’s Day! ❤️” Kourtney Kardashian replied. Kim Kardashian responded as well, and wrote, “So sweet! Happy Fathers Day ❤️❤️❤️.”
Of course, since Tristan infamously cheated on 34-year-old Khloé twice, it makes sense that some of her family members might be a little salty about acknowledging him on Father’s Day. (Or any day, frankly.)
Meanwhile, Khloé didn’t seem to mention True’s daddy on Father’s Day either. Again, at least not on social media. Who knows what’s actually going on in the real world of the Kardashians? Kim posted about her biological father, Rob Kardashian Sr., and shared a tribute to her husband Kanye West over on her Instagram. So there were plenty of Kardashian dads feeling the love on Father’s Day — just not Tristan.
